+1 to all abilities might also work, but we would not suggest any +X Extra Damage, since you probably would not be manually attacking anything. Also, once you put 3 or 4, or maybe 2 gems, if you’re strapped for cash, enhance the bow to +2, more if you are feeling really lucky, or rich.
We would not bother with a Sky Bow, you will just end up spending too much, and it probably would not be all that worth it. Same deal with Essences. Wait until after your second promotion to use Essences or getting a really nice bow.
Misc: Just for general consideration, always remember to carry about 100 or 200 Medium Potions and 100 Ginseng if you are under level 30 with Seal Cegel, and about 250 large Potions and 300 Normal Ginseng or 100 Medium Ginseng with you when you go leveling.
It really sucks to walk to Bandits or Zombies, then realize you have 3 small potions and a ginseng with you. Ah, it’s really really nice to always have a few Charms of Return to Central Valley, or maybe even Riverside Plains or Hill Valley.
