Guide for ESO Pet to hunt

How to catch a pet:
click "pets," then click "catching pets," you'll find the same information given by Prophet, Though his is probably easier to read.

To find a list of monsters, their type, whether you can catch them, and whether they are passive or aggro:
click "pets," then click "pet lists." Here you'll find a full list of monsters, if it is trappable you can catch it.

To find monster locations:
Prophet gives the exact locations of some monsters, but for less specific locations for all monsters navigate to the "pet lists" page. It tells you the general area they are in but admittedly it is not very specific if you aren't failure with the area.

To find out the level of monsters:
You have found that a monster's level seems to be roughly, a few levels lower than the level required to use that monster's transformation card. click "transformation" from the "main" page, then click "card list." if you hover your mouse over the picture of the monster your are interested in, you can find the level required to use it's transformation card.

Also the level a pet with the normal attitude starts with when caught is the level of the monster. For example a scout tiger's transformation card requires a lvl 21 character. When you capture the scout tiger, if it's attitude is normal, it will be lvl 18 or 19. So you should try catching ESO GOLD when your between 18 and 21. A Knocknee Assassin's transformation card requires lvl 15. If you catch one with a normal attitude it starts at lvl 14 or 15. While the pet's attitude is not normal, it starts at lvl 1.
