Maybe you've played quite a few MMOs and the crafting systems very so much. WOWs was pretty easy but useful and Allods is so wow like(which we dont see as a bad thing necessarily) we curious how it compares.
Actually, WoW's system allowed you to create the item you wanted every time, and you could actually make allods gold out of being a crafter. Allods' crafting system is merely an exercise in frustration, and unless you're incredibly lucky it's nothing but a gold sink.
Merely managing to craft the green item that you're looking for can be a mammoth task that costs you far, far more than the item is worth, let alone attempting to craft a blue quality item, which 75% of the time is made literally impossible by the fact that your start-out quality (you need +5 quality for a chance to craft a blue item) can vary from 0 to -3.
Faction vendors typically sell better items as well in any case, so any green items you craft will typically be short term filler items that are quickly replaced anyway. Gathering professions (apart from disassembling, which costs you money as well) are currently the only ones worth taking to improve the level(allods gold), as at the very least you can vendor the items you get for a bit of cash
