There are two factions in Kitsu Saga, those being the Order of the Iron Claw and the Flamewind Society. I am not going to go in-depth into the story line but basically the two factions were pitted against one another and were content on killing one another however a dark power emerged and the factions were forced to call a truce to work against the followers of the Golden Dharma King.
You are able to select one of the two factions when creating your character. Each faction has four distinct classes called disciplines - you get to choose what discipline you want within in Kitsu Saga Gold game via quests.
