As I opened up my email just recently, I was in ecstatic mode upon learning that Star Trek Online is getting ready for their spaceships in the MMO universe. The email stated that Star Trek Online is now ready for pre-ordering and it is scheduled to launch by February 2, 2010 in the U.S. and February 5 next year for Europe. So I hurriedly took my wallet and searched for my credit card. It is an opportunity that I'll surely will not miss. It is so generous that the Star Trek Online company will have this early promotion. Come to think of it, barely more than a month to launch the product and yet they have already giving players the option to avail it and play two days prior to the said launching date. And from the looks of it, it is like an early Christmas bonanza for the MMO games and Star Trek fans.

For an MMO game, Star Trek will embark on a journey with such an enormous aspect. This is a new horizon as far as the fanatics and the production behind the Star Trek series go. I can say that players with Star Trek 'lineage' so to speak, are so excited to be able to command several spaceships that they were awed upon when watching this space-oriented series. Players can choose their path of destinies. One can choose to command the Federation starship as Captain to explore the vast area of star system. Others may choose to be the Klingon Warlord wreaking havoc to branch out as far galaxies as you can. Players may even take advantage of the resources from the new found planets and uncover its mysteries. The game is an online adaptation of the TV series and movies. Followers may recognize the scenes and the backgrounds of the never been explored star system and be able to encounter virtually different alien inhabitants. Make the enterprises rule over the star system. From the looks of it, sto credits will make players experience a unique way of MMO gaming. The game showcases the space and ground battles. Being a Captain, you will be having a maximum of five subordinates to be uniquely controlled as the player prefers. That is what I have mentioned from the article about gamers' wish list I wrote just a few weeks ago. And I think it will be a matter of time game developer would queue in to this type of pet or companion system in an MMO game.
Sounds good? The following might make it even better. Star Trek Online gives its followers an opening salvo by way of a pre-order promotion. Players who had signed for a closed-beta test for the game, received pre-order invitation via email. It stated that player can place a purchase for the DVD media or download version of star trek credits, before its official release. During the said event, we will be able to avail two editions of Star Trek Online game. Players can have a choice between the Regular Edition and others may have the limited Collector's Edition.
