Rappelz is a massive multiplayer online roleplaying game set in an atmosphere both fantastic and medieval at the same time. Your objective consists basically on doing different quests and missions, killing monsters, going up levels and obtain new weapons and power-ups.
The game's interface follows the characteristic online roleplay games style, displaying an action toolbar with all your powers and abilities, a window with your inventory and making use of the mouse for almost all the action in the game.
As you progress in Rappelz you will be helped by creatures of all kinds, which you can adopt as adventure colleagues to fight on your side against the enemies.
For those of you unfamiliar with Rappels, it is an absolutely free Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game that mimics the core mechanics of World of Warcraft, and the fantasy style of Final Fantasy 11.
The sale itself is for optional items. Outside the game, you can pay real rappelz rupees to purchase GP, similar to XBOX Live and WiiWare’s point system. With these points you can purchase in game potions, additional costumes, and additional pets that are in no way mandatory to the actual gameplay.
For those of you interested in getting into the MMO scene, but don’t want to fork over the cash, I highly recommend Rappelz. While World of Warcraft leaves all the other MMO’s in the dust due to its popularity, Rappelz offers an almost identical, enjoyable gameplay, while eliminating the over-exaggerated art style. All that and much much more for free. So be open minded and enjoy all the fun MMO’s out there. But always remember, you have a life that you have to come back to, no matter how much you want to get that new weapon.
