After you make your selection you have a little bit of tutorial to guide you through the game. It mainly explains about the control schemes – there are to main ones – keyboard and mouse+keyboard. There is actually also joypad support but I do not own one so I cannot really tell if it behaves good. Of course you can modify your controls to best suit your playstyle. I personally prefer the mouse input as it is easier to control the camera with it.
And here comes the fun part – the battles in this game are a blast. They are fast, furious and let you do variety of stuff to your foes. You have several basic actions – attack, defend, grab, dash and jump. They can be combined in various combos both on the ground and in the air. If you like games like Devil May Cry and God of War, Cheap Divine Souls Gold is very useful in the game and we need make full use of it,you will feel right at home. You can smash, grab, throw into the air, knock down and kick hard every enemy in the game in just about every imaginable way. As you do that your combo meter will grow – the more attacks you chain the better your score will be. Also it seems that the better combo you have made the more loot the mobs drop. I am not sure about that last one but I have seen up to four items drop with 50 combo hits from four mobs and only one or to items drop from more enemies when my combo meter was low. It is easy to make combos actually, you just need to dodge and learn what hits can be chained together without breaking the combo. And yes, the different classes have different moves and combos and each one has his strengths and weaknesses.
