As a champion or evil-doer, you'll protect or exploit the citizens and opposition, and work to earn the respect of dozens of renowned characters, from Green Lantern and Wonder Woman to Bizarro and Lex Luthor. What drives one man to pursue justice and another to consider greed a virtue might not be as simple as you think.
Wrecking Crew
Combat doesn't follow the largely turn-based rules of most MMOs, and puts more emphasis on skill than on equipment and raw statistics. Whether you're firing pistols from high above the pavement or super-punching some criminal into next week, you'll have to aim and time your abilities to yield the greatest impact. Similarly the streets of Metropolis and Gotham City's different zones are destructible and interactive, offering up strategic possibilities and ad hoc weaponry. Bash foes silly with a nearby truck, or yank street signs out of the sidewalk and put the concrete block left at the end to good use dcuo cash. There'll even be major events that let hundreds of players work together to defeat colossal threats.
