Every MMO game has clans or guilds, but most of them are just places for players to get together for some activities. Black Prophecy tries to push the clan to a higher level, the developer Reakktor Media wants to make clan to be the home for players. In Black Prophecy, you join a clan and do your part in the clan which will increase your clan's ranking. In return, a high level clan gives you the opportunity to upgrade your ships.
In Black Prophecy, clans do exist in the space, and each clan can have its own station when fulfilling certain criteria (ranking, resources, number of members, etc.). The clan station is customizable and expandable. A clan can build up to 16 different kinds of facilities on its station, for example hangars, trading posts and living quarters and those facilities are not for decoration but have certain functions.Also you can buy Black Prophecy Gold that can make your game more interesting, funny and stimulus. Trading post, for instance, allows clan members and visitors to get access to the entire faction-wide range of products. Besides, the appearance of your station will change as you choose different facilities for the station.
But don't take it for granted that you can build whatever you want. You need enough resources and upgrade modules which can be acquired by completing special clan missions. In order to get special clan missions, a faction agency must be built.
