burda:ic (owner of alaplaya) announced today a partnership with MGame to bring the steampunk-themed MMORPG ARGO Online to North America and Europe. Named after the Argo – the ship used by Jason and the Argonauts in Greek Mythology, ARGO Online is a game that will “introduce players to a steampunk-themed world where past meets future and magic meets technology.” The game is apparently RvR centric, with the mechanically savvy Noblian race pitted against the nature-inspired Floresslah in a war for the planet’s scarce resources.
