In order to level(last chaos gold) fast you want to maximize attack.
1. Only put points into strength. You need to put all our points into STR in order to get our attack as high as possible. Dexterity does not help us enough to warrant putting points into that. Granted, it does help evasion and attack speed, but not enough to make a significant difference.
2. MAX out Axe Mastery and Perfect Body as soon as possible! This is important because both skills(lastchaos gold) give you attack. Make sure you have enough SP to get the Perfect Body upgrades when they are available as well. The other skills are nice to have, but some require DEX so be carefull. You have to decide after trial and error, that the only skills you may want to get were Axe Mastery and Perfect Body. Therefore, you could decide to save your extra SP till later.
3. Now buy, make, or beg for a good axe. Axes have insane attack as it is, so if you get a +10 Elise axe as well, you can plan on getting better xp than you would have ever hoped.
4. Now you have the highest attack power you can get. Keep your HP's below 50% so that Perfect Body can stay active. You can use Body Crasher for extra damage every now and then, but your normal hits should be insane.
5. Remember that all of this is because you are trying to PvE monster grind levels.
