Bright and Vibrant Kitsu Saga Closed Beta Review

Kitsu Saga is one of the newer games to Aeria Game's collection. The game itself does feature cute graphics, not as cute as the ones you seen in Iris online, but may be more similar to Dream of Mirror Online. The difference is that the graphics are a lot cleaner, and the feature set is a bit different. For instance the pet system which is Kitsu is something that isn't seen as much in mmos, and what they do is even rarer. The game itself is perfect for those who have a busy schedule but still want to play something attractive that has a good set of features. But not all the features have yet been put in play, so we may have more pleasant surprises in store.

The character creation has you pick between two factions the Order of the Iron Claw, and the Flamewind Society. The choice between the two should rely on what class you want to be. Each faction has four different classes, so if you thought that the two factions was a battle of two realms, you would be incorrect like I was at first. I like the amount of class diversity but at least for me I had my hopes shattered knowing I wouldn't be able to fight the other side in random player killing. Ah well, such is the life of a player killer in a non player killing world.

Beyond that the character creation is fairly decent. It will allow you to make yourself look different than the crowd provided you mess with the settings some. In the character creation you're able to edit your characters sex, height (small, medium, or large), face, hair and hair color, skin color, Kitsu Saga Gold and iris color. So you do have enough settings to mix and match to where you will stand out a bit. For most of the options they have nothing but appearance for them, but one thing you may easily miss is that the height of your character offers different bonuses. So it may be worth looking which will be the most beneficial to the class you chose.

From there the character creation has a neat turn. You're able to pick a growth pattern. What it means is that instead of doing a standard cookie cutter formula, the game instead lets you pick which pre-determined way your character will grow per level. Now there are recommended ones for each class so if you have a tough time choosing you can go with the one of two recommended for each class, otherwise if you feel bored or adventurous you could mix things up a bit and try a totally different combo. The cool thing about the choice as well, and one thing they did that made me happy, was they put on the right side of the character creation buttons which tell you about the different classes for your faction, including telling you what pre-set growth is recommended. So you won't need to google the site and search for it yourself.
