As a Paladin, we can pretty much devastate any class. Because of that fact, in Battle Grounds, we are the first targets, cause if left alive, we can wipe out an entire team in Grand Fantasia. The Skill chain: Mighty Shield Bash>Shield Bash>Mighty Shield Bash.
Paladins seem to forget about SB as soon as they get MSB. Don't forget SB! We are not using it for damage but rather, its stun effect. Whenever you start a fight, start with MSB. As soon as the stasis effect runs out, cast SB. By the time SB stasis runs out, MSB is ready for recasting! So basically you can keep your opponent helpless as you whittle away their HP.
Once you finish the above chain, cast Showdown Banner and Weakening Strike to reduce damage taken. If you have Perfect Defense ready (5 charge bars), Grand Fantasia Gold then use that instead. We are just waiting for MSB and SB to lose their cool down phase to repeat the above skill chian.
The above tactic works great in Duels and Battle Ground as well. Whenever you are in battle ground, stay together with a group.
