If you plan to Steal often only and not AoE, having too much dex seems like a waste unless you are rather impatient in stealing recipes.

Lets face it, with half the amount of dex compare to an AoE/Stealing builds, you will fail 50% more. However, with half the amount of dex, we are able to get 50% more agi resulting in more evasion which, is more domo gold important for the survival of my thief.
Honestly, there are no really given fact that stealing success rate is base on dex, but I will leave it alone since some people actually do believe that dex does increase success rate.
