The only ppl we ever set out to piss off in SRO(Champions Online Gold) were the botters. We knew a good turk or two they hid their nationality out of embarasment for the example their countrymen set but on the whole anyone with a TR next to their name could generally be expected to be rude to you even if you were just walking by. Botters on the whole are much nicer than Turks on the whole. Just saying not that we approve of either group.
There are good and bad turks just like any other nationality. The only problem is that the bad ones are definitely the majority. We think it speaks loudly that the majority of people who play SRO(Champions Online Gold) had little to no contact with any turks before playing SRO. We know we did not. But the limited bit of contact, we had in SRO really set a negative impression.
Call it prejudice fine. But it sure as hell is not racism by our measure. At any rate if you do not like the way the ethnicity is portrayed then accept and denounce the bad ones and set the good example yourself. Sure the blanket statements are not appreciated but people are just speaking from what they know.
