The Korean massively multiplayer online game Cabal is hoping to follow in the footsteps of games such as RF Online that have been opened up to a wider market. The game, developed by ESTsoft Corp, will be distributed throughout Europe by Games-Masters.com, but it is currently being translated into English only. Cabal is set in the fantasy world of Navereth with more than 300 solo or group dungeons, and it features combat, crafting, an in-game market, and a lottery.
The closed beta phase of testing will begin, and gamers wishing to take part will need to register on the RF Online Gold Web site; only the first few will get the chance to take part in the beta. Something the developers are keen to point out is that the game's optimisation techniques will allow older computers to run the game--the minimum needed is a Pentium 3 800MHz processor.
