ARGO Online From quests to skills

ARGO Online From quests to skills, the skill system is a bit different from typical mmos. Instead of just having your normal skill tree there is two others besides that; the adventure skill tree which is pretty static and you will get all of them eventually, and the national skill tree which branches off into two sections. Both of these extra skill trees have several passive, buff, and debuff skills available making your overall skill pool rather large. The only real negative about this is that the skill slots allotted to you is small in comparison to the amount of skills you will get, which makes you really pick and choose the best of your skills to use.

If you read some of my reviews, you will know that I do dislike gender locked classes. This game is guilty of the same crime. Alright, yes, I can live with it, but I do feel it is a bit odd that they would bother to lock classes to be a certain gender, instead of allowing either gender to play the role. Like I have said before, I like playing my own gender, but I can live with playing another, but still I would like the choice at least(ARGO Gold).

I like the core system, but the one thing that bugs me about it is the transportation in the game. I like the looks, and use of them, but they seem to guzzle core like a beat up old car. Traveling even short distances will drain your core substantially and make it not really ideal or cost efficient, especially for lower level people. Being that you can get your first mount at level ten, given that the cost to refine core isn't exactly ideal at lower levels I thought there would be more of a balance between the cost and actual use of core with the mounts. This may be why I almost never see anyone actually use their mount when traveling around.

Monster respawning is fairly quick and a bit too quick for those of us that sometimes get caught soloing in mmos. Yes, I know, soloing isn't the ideal course for mmo players, but in this game I did get kind of stuck doing it, and it seemed most everyone else was as well. And for those of us who do this, you will notice that the monsters do spawn kind of too quick. A good example was when I had to hunt ‘bounties' on npcs. They had three monsters around them and the main guy in the center. Normally you would lure each of the monsters away and then focus on the main guy, right? Well, that doesn't work too well in this setting. By the time you finish off the second monster the first one already respawned. So in some cases you are forced to try to fight groups like that all at once, especially if you're soloing. I like that there is a faster respawn than what some games have, but when it goes too fast, it just hinders things.
