During a recent press conference with the theme of Tera Gold 2nd CBT Preview, TERA's developer Bluehole Studio and publisher NHN have given a detailed introduction of the game content that players will go through during the upcoming 2nd closed beta starting .
Tera Gold first rose to the surface in the 1st closed beta test . As only 200 participants were invited to take part in that test and each of them could only enjoy 8-hour game content, which was a real pity for masses of TERA followers.
Gladly, the 2nd closed beta test will be held for four days . 3000 testers are going to test the gameplay and game content as well as experience the combat fun brought by the non-targeting system.
Only 8-hour game content was released for the 1st closed beta test while more than 20-hour content is prepared for the 2nd test. With the opening of three continents in the 2nd test, players are able to fight against various monsters in eight battlefields. Also, more playable classes are available. The game Tera Gold has also undergone a great change on other aspects after getting feedbacks from the first closed beta test.
First of all, in the 2nd closed beta test, monsters' HP and damage value will be displayed and the game interface will become more visual. Besides, the distance between a character and a monster will be indicated below the central "cross hair" when Tera Gold players are in a distant perspective.
In addition, compared with the first closed beta test, the item description and inventory introduction are improved, the positions of quest monsters are marked in the map, and the chat option is classified in the 2nd test. The level-up speed is also adjusted and the sense of development is enhanced. Meanwhile, character Tera Gold customization options have tripled when creating a character and even more will be added in the future. At the time of open beta test, the game will possess stronger character customization system.
During the press conference, the team leader of Bluehole Studio talked about the future plan of Tera Gold after the 2nd closed beta. With respect to the hot "jump" system, he explained that the jump in a non-targeting action game will give rise to entirely different effects from that in common MMORPGs. In the near future, TERA will reveal new jumping motions. Furthermore, mainstream system requirements shall be met in order to ensure a quite smooth gaming environment when Tera Gold enters the open beta test.
