The Star Wars Galaxies Instant Travel Vehicle comes with your purchase of the Star Wars Galaxies™: Starter Kit.
Have you ever been out hunting with your friends and were suddenly needed across the galaxy by your teammates for a battle?
All you need to do call for a pickup!
By using a simple command on your toolbar, you can click the mouse and have your very own X-Wing or TIE fighter ready to take you where you need to go in an instant!
These vehicles will take you to any Space or Shuttleport on the planet (but not from planet to planet).
Do you have a Rebel character on one galaxy and an Imperial Galaxy on another? Don't worry. Each of your characters gets their own personal ship depending on which side your character is allied!
The instant travel vehicle is easy to use and handy in tight spots when you need to get swg credits a hurry.
Here's how it works
When you log into the game after entering the key code, your "reward" window will open.
Click the selection that says, "Claim reward now."
Once you do, a deed for the vehicle will be placed in your character's inventory.
• Use the radial menu on the deed by right clicking the deed in your inventory and choose the option to "Grant Ability".
• That's it! Once the ability is granted, the "Call for Pick Up" ability will be added to your Abilities window and your toolbar.
• Now, you can queue up your "Call for Pick Up" ability and right click to call the vehicle!
• You can choose any destination on the planet to travel to instantly!
Additional Information
Each of your characters can claim a deed.
If you have a new character, undeclared with no faction the Instant Travel vehicle will default to an X-Wing.
If your character joins the Empire later on, that's ok! When your character joins the Empire, the Instant Travel vehicle will be a TIE Fighter.
If you are part of a faction, your character will receive an Instant Travel vehicle associated with your character's star war galaxies credits, either Imperial or Rebel.
These vehicles cannot be summoned near a city of any kind, on Kashyyyk or Mustafar.
The vehicle will appear and all you have to do is click on it to see a travel window.
/ca can be use to summon this item, or hotkey the actual command from your commands list.
